The New York based label, J-Fold, have succeeded internationally and now nationally after establishing the brand within the UK in 2005. The 'Waxed' is constructed from thick cotton, black fabric with 2 green stripes which has been soaked in wax; a process that has originated from the military. This waxing process strengthens and protects the natural fabric in order to defend the men's bag against the weather and daily wear. The thickness, rigidity and finish of the fabric offers durable properties which allow the bag to only look better with age, giving it a masculine, worn look.
The bag has been designed in a messenger style. The 36cm width and 31cm width makes it perfect for carrying folders, documents, magazines etc. There is a 29cm wide and 26cm high zipped pocket placed on the front panel of the bag which could be used for the daily necessities for ease of access. Inside this pocket are smaller sections for such items as a mobile phone, wallet and keys. Inside bag are 2 large compartments which are both fully lined. The front pocket has been lined with a nylon style fabric and the second with a soft black felt which would allow a 13" laptop to fit with ease and be protected. All zips and detailings have been finished with black leather tabs for a quality finish. There is also an adjustable black, webbing strap which enables the bag to be carried over the shoulder or across the body.
