The American company, Goorin Bros has been built over the last century upon idea of. authenticity and traditional inspired design, however, what underlines this is their desire to keep an individual look and enable fellow hat wearer's to choose their style rather than follow the crowds.
The 'Sherman' definitely does this it has been designed in a Pork Pie hat style; the 3.5cm wide brim is turn upwards all the way around the circumference and the crown is sat flat with an indented centre. The hat has been constructed from a tan coloured straw which has been closely woven to form the structure.
Around the outside of the hat there is a 4cm deep, layered headband which has been cut from a red, yellow and blue striped fabric. On one side of this is an aged gold Goorin Bros badge which also sits next to a vivid red feather. It is features such as these that distinguishes the Goorin brand. Inside the hat is a headband to enhance the comfort of the wear of this hat.
