It has been the reintroduction of the classic hat styles that were designed, created and worn in 1920 when Ehrhardt Koch founded the New Era company that has established the EK men's head wear range. Koch wanted to create a brand that would be renowned for quality, innovation and style. With such a brilliant and individual hat range this season from New Era, the company has definitely succeeded in this.
The 'Cut n Soho City Pinstripe' men's hat has been designed in a classic flat cap style. It has been constructed from bright white fabric adorned with darkest blue and light brown pinstripes which sit 1cm apart. The crown of the hat is constructed from 7 triangular panels, giving the hat an almost preppy style. The crown has been designed to sit over the rigid curved peak.
This design conceals this section of the hat, but the royal blue, leather look covered peak can be seen from the side or underneath offering a subtle contrast and striking element to the hat. Inside the hat it is fully lined with the official red and white EK lining. there is also a padded black headband that runs around the perimeter of the hat.
