The range of exclusive men's hats from the fantastic New Era brand was revolutionised originally in 1920 by Ehrhardt Koch. EK by New Era is a collection of hats that have been designed to celebrate the designs that were produced in the first half of the C20th. The range is made up of classic style that have been updated with modern prints, textures and colours.
The 'Alden Straw Geo' is a hat perfect for the warmer seasons. The 100% straw construction makes the hat completely breathable and lightweight. The main body has been built from cross hatched, woven black coloured natural fibres. The 2mm wide strands form a strong exterior due to the tightness of the weave, allowing this hat to last for multiple seasons. What updates this hat is the printed fabric and the short brim. The classic trilby style has been changed using a 2.5cm deep brim.
Around the exterior of the hat is a 4.5cm deep, layered headband. The fabric is the statement features of the 'Alden Straw Geo'. The black cotton fabric is highlighted with a bright green randomised print. Both sides of the hat house an EK badge to seal the quality of the straw men's hat. Inside the 'Alden Straw Geo' all edges have been bound and there is a padded headband inside the perimeter for additional comfort and fit.
