Function of Wallet Chains

They are originally a practical item, acting as a safeguard against losing your wallet or mobile phone. They are connected to the front of the jeans via a belt loop before connecting at the other end to the wallet or mobile phone using the appropriate attachment. When this item is placed in the back pocket the chain hangs down at the side and works as a piece of jewellery.

There are many different styles available of any wallet chain, but they typically consist of metal linked chains in various materials such as chrome finished silver or stainless steel. More unusual styles of chain such as incorporating skulls to form the links.

These wallet and key chains look the part and are used to set off all the styles mentioned above. Some premium brands have even used wallet chains in their catwalk collections showing these accessories can be used at any level of fashion.
