Leather & Other Mens Bracelets
Leather mens bracelets have come a long way over the last few decades with various different types like straps, wrap-arounds and woven bracelets; there are types to suit every man. The use of silver and stainless steel has become so popular and offers both an exclusive and quality style. However, there are many other varieties of materials and bracelets on the market. Included in this section are leather, rubber and string/rope bracelets. These materials create malleable fixed bracelets which can be adorned with pendant, beads, charms or a combination of materials. The qualities of the materials mean they can be adorned or designed in such a way that they can transition into a casual or formal style. The main feature of these styles of bracelets is the combination and choice available of both natural and man-made materials.
Colour of Leather used in Bracelets
Leather is a natural material which can be used in a multitude of ways. The colour alone can change the dynamic of a piece of jewellery; the natural light grey/tan colour can be dyed to the most commonly seen black or brown, or boldly to red, purple or orange. The leather can be a single length wrapped around the wrist or can be used to make a statement by wrapping around many times in an alternative style cuff way. Leather can also be used in larger quantities to create cuff bracelets which can range from anywhere between 2cm to 20cm. The leather can be knotted to fasten or use clasps, poppers or zips.
Other materials used in male bracelets
Man-made rubber can also be used to create bracelets and gives a subtle difference in comparison to leather. The durable and elastic fabric means that the profile of the cuff or bracelet can be changed accordingly and allude to a slightly more formal style than the leather bracelet or cuff. String may sound like an unorthodox choice but works very well and is durable; the natural or man-made fibre offers a rustic and alternative feel to the standard men's bracelet.
The combinations of materials that are readily available enable bracelets or cuffs to offer both casual and formal styles. The variables allow for an eclectic mix of men's jewellery which means that there is style to suit; with such a variety available there is no longer a need to choose one style, there is an opportunity now to choose a collection of items and mix and match according to your style.
