Casio Digital Watches

In 1917, Kashio Tadao, the founder of Casio Computer Ltd was born in Japan. Fleeing to Tokyo due to the Great Kanto earthquake in 1923, Tadao completed his education and started an apprenticeship in a factory. After finishing his apprenticeship and additional education he gained enough experience in the technology and business industry that the subtracting company; Kashio Seisakijo was born. This led to one of the four Kashio brothers assisting Tadao in funding the business by inventing a Finger Ring Pipe. The profits from this created the calculator prototype in 1954. After a few years of developing the design a deal was completed in June 1957 which established Casio Computer Company Ltd.

Since that time Casio as a brand and company have grown and developed to have offices all over the world and creating such products as the 'DB-1000 Casio Databank Watch', 'CPW-100 Compass' and 'The G' wristwatch. The quality, history and identity of these watches enable them to stand-out from the rest with strong brand recognition.
