This smart looking item is a calendar from Friis that provides the opportunity not to use an electronic diary, but rather use something a little more classic to keep your appointments in order. On the outside, it sports the classic Friis tartan pattern in black and white with red detail.
The calendar is bound closed by an elasticated red strap that has a leather style panel with ‘F by Friis’ stamped onto it. Upon releasing this strap, you can open the calendar and look inside. You are immediately confronted with the 2007 calendar in the middle on a sturdy ring-bound mounting. This includes a handy five lines for each day on which you can make notes; more than you’ll find on many calendars. To the right of the calendar there is a cardholder section with space for five cards and a very handy pen-loop into which you can slip your favourite writing implement. To the left of the calendar is a zip-up section and at the back is a large open compartment similar to those you would find in a wallet, in which you could put larger pieces of paper or cheques.
This is a well-designed organiser, which size-wise could be considered to be halfway between a wallet and an organiser. It is very stylish and would make a great gift; either to yourself or someone else!
