Friis have got it together once again to produce this great looking messenger style bag that throws several different materials together that may seem at odds, but they combine to produce a fine bag. It’s all edged in red piping which continues throughout the bag, including along the top of the compartments on the inside, demonstrating the attention to detail that is so often produced by this brand.
There is a zip-up compartment on the front panel, (which is real and can be used if required) which creates the border between the pinstripe on the upper section and the tweed looking effect at the bottom. Under the flap, at the sides and on the back is the signature Friis tartan that completes the trio of patterns on this bag. When you incorporate the darkened metal fixings, interior zip up compartment, additional compartments, and magnetic popper to attach down the flap it is eminently practical too.
Extra details like the metal branded plate and Friis gothic ‘F’ for the zipper on the inside add to the detail of this bag. There is an adjustable shoulder strap and the interior is fully lined. It’s perfect for carrying large A4 folders, other documents or books and will fit laptops up to and including 17” screens, making it work really well overall as a stylish, practical messenger bag.
